Teamed up with implementation to solve a room occupancy discrepancy. The culprit was Excel dropping leading 0’s from EMR IDs. Implementation team has remediated.

Implemented improved error handling in Hand Hygiene App, only likely to affect internal team members when replacing the facility ID in the URL to navigate between HH Dashboards.

Resolved an access issue inhibiting successful Kubernetes deployment due to reliance on a former employee’s revoked credentials.
Who Watches the Watchmen? (we do) (10/22/2021):
Engineering uses a tool called Sentry to help automatically report and alert us to errors happening in our systems. Code tests across multiple services were failing because of a Sentry-related issue. This was investigated and confirmed it was a bug on their end that has since been resolved.
Alerting Clean Up (10/22/2021):
Identified a particular backend service that was ‘timing out’ every weekday during its peak usage hours. The service retries, so there was no harm to the SwipeSense infrastructure. However, Engineering identified the factors involved and adjusted the service configuration appropriately to account for the high traffic volume.
